Toby McCosker is a dual-licensed builder and electrician with more than twenty years across construction, civil, electrical and project delivery in NSW and WA. He holds Building Practitioner registrations in both states, and as Building Practitioner (General) is registered to deliver class 2 buildings in NSW. His current role is Operations Manager for a WA-based construction firm specialising in remote construction — systems, tendering, compliance, scheduling, procurement and project reporting.

His delivery record spans building classes 1, 2, 3, 6, 8 and 9 — from apartments and aged care to schools, health and civic works — alongside Tier 1 infrastructure, correctional and remote projects. That record includes civil, electrical and services supervision on the Coffs Harbour Bypass, commissioning of more than 20,000 test points at a major NSW correctional facility, and delivery of 10 bushfire-relief modular homes in remote areas across NSW.

For roughly eight years he founded and led an ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 accredited construction business with more than 40 staff, delivering schools, medical, industrial and mixed-use projects across the Hunter region. The systems discipline built there — quality, safety and environmental management run as one methodology — still shapes how he plans, procures and reports on projects today.
